My base (I shared it with MinecraftGussA, PristineChaos and Suishohasu - when they were still playing) always have unfinished bits because I am easily distracted... anyway, some best parts in my opinion:
NOTE: I just noticed that on the two first screenshots some chests are invisible... that's because of some server plugin they take time to load up. But I guess you can get the idea.

Wow Ayriie, your base is really beautiful, everythings so detailed! In particular I like how you do your roofs and your paths are really cool. All of the them look fantastic!

Those areas were always there. They were open to the public for most of the time on the previous map but locked off for the last few months as new players were getting lost in there. We have now used world guard to keep new players away from the confusing sprawl until they are more familiar with the commands.

This thread seems to be dying... Anyway, this map I've focus a lot of my time on my cave, that's my main base. I hand dug and used a lot of tnt throughout and it's still a massive work in progress but eh. I've also thrown in of a small, mossy, broken down room that's overgrown with leaves and vines (those ones are at the end).

Not really a base but this cactus farm i made on a different server took a while to make, it produced around 25,000 cactus per hour which was useful given the economy plug in. http://imgur.com/ZdxAMCi
This screenshot was when i was only starting it, it ended up nearly at build height when i was finished.
